How Interview English AI handles account, practice, payment, and usage data. Last updated June 2, 2026.
Interview English AI is currently operated by the owner of the Interview English AI service from British Columbia, Canada. We will update this page when a formal business entity, registered business name, or mailing address is added. For privacy, billing, support, or legal questions, contact interviewenglishai@gmail.com.
We may collect account details, email address, sign-in information, selected practice type, questions, typed answers, transcripts, AI feedback, scores, saved answers, course progress, payment status, support or feedback messages, page URL, device/browser information, IP-derived security signals, and basic usage events.
We use information to provide login, practice feedback, saved reports, course access, subscription access, support, fraud prevention, security monitoring, product improvement, and legal or payment compliance.
We use third-party AI and speech-processing providers to transcribe answers, generate feedback, and estimate pronunciation or speech clarity. Practice content is sent only as needed to provide these features. We do not intend for user practice content to be used for public model training, but each provider processes data under its own terms, privacy policy, security controls, and retention rules. Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal, financial, legal, medical, immigration, or confidential employer information into practice answers.
Voice recordings are sent for transcription and, when pronunciation scoring is used, may be sent to a specialist speech-scoring provider. Interview English AI is designed not to permanently store raw audio after processing, but third-party processors may handle audio under their own retention rules. We may store the transcript, feedback, scores, selected question, selected role, and created date so users can review practice history.
Checkout and payment processing are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store full card numbers. We may store payment status, plan, checkout email, order or subscription identifiers, renewal status, refund status, and webhook events needed to manage access, support, cancellation, taxes, fraud review, chargebacks, and refunds.
The service uses Clerk for authentication, Supabase for database storage, AI processing providers for feedback, speech-scoring providers for optional specialist pronunciation scoring, Lemon Squeezy for payments, Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics for basic website analytics, and Cloudflare Turnstile for optional contact-form abuse prevention. These providers may process data in countries outside your location.
We may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session security, checkout, Google Analytics, and product diagnostics. You can control some cookies through your browser, but blocking essential cookies may break login or checkout.
Raw audio is processed temporarily for transcription or scoring and is not intentionally stored by Interview English AI after processing. Transcripts, feedback, scores, saved answers, and course progress are kept while your account is active unless you request deletion where legally available. Payment records may be kept as needed for tax, fraud, refund, chargeback, and legal compliance. Security and abuse logs may be kept as needed to protect the service and investigate misuse.
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited records when required for security, tax, payment, dispute, chargeback, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
We use account authentication, environment variables for secrets, HTTPS hosting, security headers, access controls, webhook verification, and usage monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Because our providers may operate globally, your information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, or other locations where service providers operate.
Interview English AI is intended for learners preparing for interviews, school, work, or professional communication. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Minors may use the service only with parent or guardian permission where required.
Interview English AI's privacy contact is interviewenglishai@gmail.com. You may contact us to ask questions, make an access, correction, deletion, or export request, or submit a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
