Refund Policy
Clear refund rules for digital subscription access. Last updated June 2, 2026.
Subscriptions
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel future renewals from the Billing page or Lemon Squeezy customer portal. If you cancel without a refund, you normally keep paid access until the end of the current billing period unless access is suspended for abuse, fraud, chargeback, or Terms violations. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.
7-day refund review window, not automatic approval
Requests submitted within 7 days of first purchase are eligible for case-by-case review. This is a review window, not a guaranteed refund. Approval is not automatic because digital AI usage creates processing costs and paid access can be consumed immediately after purchase.
Case-by-case review
Refunds are reviewed case by case. We may approve, partially approve, or refuse a refund based on purchase date, subscription history, AI feedback reports used, support history, technical issues, payment provider rules, abuse signals, account-sharing signals, fraud, and chargeback history.
Significant use and non-refundable cases
Refunds may be refused for account sharing, abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, violation of the Terms, or significant paid AI usage. Significant paid AI usage generally means the account has used 10 or more paid AI feedback reports after purchase, or usage patterns show automated or shared access.
Discounts and payment-provider timing
If a refund is approved, it is based on the amount actually paid after discounts, not the regular list price. Refund method, processing time, taxes, exchange rates, and card statement timing may depend on Lemon Squeezy, your bank, and local payment rules. Mandatory consumer rights in your location still apply where they cannot be waived.
What happens after approval
If support approves a refund, the admin refund action is sent through Lemon Squeezy, and the request status is updated in your Billing page. Full refunds may revoke Pro access after the refund is processed. Processing time and card-statement timing depend on Lemon Squeezy, the payment network, your bank, and local payment rules.
Access after refund or cancellation
If a full refund is approved, Pro access may end after the refund is processed. If you only cancel future renewal, paid access normally continues until the current paid period expires, unless the account is suspended for abuse, fraud, chargeback, or Terms violations.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits mandatory refund, cancellation, chargeback, or consumer protection rights that may apply in your location and cannot legally be waived.
How to request a refund
Sign in and use Billing > Request refund so your request is stored on your account and visible to support. Add your order details if available and a short reason for the request. You can track the request status from Billing. If you cannot access your account, email interviewenglishai@gmail.com from the purchase email. We usually respond within 1 to 2 business days.
Who processes the payment
Secure checkout, payment method handling, taxes, and card processing are handled by Lemon Squeezy. Interview English AI uses Lemon Squeezy order, subscription, customer portal, and webhook records to manage access, cancellation status, refund review, and support history.
